Since 1930 the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has provided food vouchers and toys to low income families in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Vancouver Motorcycle Christmas Toy Run is one of the largest toy runs in Canada in its 37th year, they have a number of motorcycle groups that volunteer and the cities of Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby and Vancouver all support the event. The Toy Run left Coquitlam Centre at 9.30 am proceeding through Port Moody along Barnet Highway and along Hastings Street to the PNE grounds. After the gathering and celebration at the PNE Coliseum. Trev Deeley Harley-Davidson dealership on Boundary Rd held a TOY RUN AFTERBURNER! It is their open house & customer appreciation day with prizes and seminars as well as a BBQ put on by the Burnaby Firefighters.

Remember it takes a lot of people to make this event go, volunteers whom all take time out of their lives and in most cases do not get to ride the event, they include the Sikh Motorcycle Club, BC Beemer’s, Gospel Riders and the Church of Scientology Ministry Volunteers.

Some of these people have been helping for years, and of course Santa who has helped us for many years, plus his usual duties around Dec 25″
