BMW Motorrad is excited for the 76TH Annual Daytona Beach Bike Week, as it’s their first opportunity to showcase their brand new 2017 BMW K 1600 B model on the East Coast. They’ve dubbed it their most stylish and smooth touring motorcycle, and it’s one of the first bagger bikes on their six-cylinder K 1600 platform. The German manufacturing company developed this specific motorcycle model with American riders and American roads in mind – and all of the Daytona Bike Week 2017 attendees will have the opportunity to check it out this week.
BMW Motorcycles of Daytona will be showcasing the BMW K 1600 B bagger every day of Daytona Bike Week – from Friday, March 10 through Sunday, March 19 at its location on 118 E Fairview Ave. They’ll be showing it off daily from 9:00AM to 7:00PM, and they will also be giving attendees the chance to check out their other amazing bikes – including the new one-cylinder roadster, the G 310 R. At under 500 cc and priced below $5,000, the G 310 R may just steal the show away from the K 1600 B at Daytona this year.
The brand new K 1600 B boasts a 1,632 cc inline-six engine with a whopping 160 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque, which BMW made possible with three different riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic). Other standard features on the K 1600 B include Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic ESA with Road and Cruise damping modes – not to mention other systems that can be added as optional features. Check out video below of the 2017 BMW K 1600 B, and tell us in the comments below if you’ll be stopping by BMW Motorcycles of Daytona this week to see it in person!
