The band Spirit is claiming that Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven”, released in 1971, is too similar to their track titled “Taurus” which was released in 1966. Hank Williams Jr’s rebellious mix of country, rock, and blues was the perfect soundtrack for kickstarting Sturgis’ 75th celebration. Hank Jr. rocked the house this past August at the Broken Spoke Campground during the 75th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. His last performance at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was back in 2004.
