This week, the internet introduced us to Dave Crosby and his super cute 4 year old daughter, Claire. When the 29 year old dad sat on his couch with his totally adorable daughter to sing the classic tune “You’ve Got A Friend In Me”, what he never expected was how the internet would respond to it. The tune, which was featured way back in 1995 in the highly popular Toy Story movie collection, was originally performed by singer/songwriter Randy Newman.

Since Dave’s video was posted, it has received over 90 million views, and prompted interviews from local newspaper outlets and national news sources and magazines. What Dave thought was just an innocent moment with his daughter literally made him internet-famous – a twist that he never saw coming when he and Claire just took a moment to sing a song together. Dave, in an interview with a local newspaper, said he came up with the idea to make the video of them singing the song together when Claire began to sing to random customers at a gas station they were shopping at.

It’s obvious that 4 year old Claire loves to sing – see it for yourself in the actual video that has been melting hearts online all week below. Tell us in the comments how great you think this duet between Claire and her father is. Do you think she’ll grow up to be the next Adele or Katy Perry? Share Claire’s incredible talents with all of your friends – this is one voice we definitely don’t mind hearing a lot of!
