Check out this footage of an all original, untouched, 1948 Harley-Davidson Panhead.
This first year Harley-Davidson Panhead has only had one owner who received the motorcycle as a high-school graduation gift from his parents in 1948. The motorcycle has all original parts and paint, plus many accessories from that time period.
The Panhead engine replaced the Knucklehead engine in 1948 and then was later replaced by the Shovelhead in 1965. Panheads are recognized by their distinct valve covers which resemble the shape of two upside-down cooking pans.
Watch the clip of the owner firing it up below, you’ll be blown away when you hear it purr!
