Ask any biker and they’ll tell you they’ve been in a situation on the road where a driver didn’t see them and many will tell you it’s the reason they’ve lost a fellow brother or sister on the road. Here’s a great motorcycle public service announcement from several years ago, but the message still reigns true. It was made to bring awareness to motorcyclists, a reminder to pay attention and watch for motorcycles.
This message is a great reminder to share the road and to look twice for motorcycles, but the PSA also brings to light the assumptions people make about bikers based on how they look. We have families and friends too, every life matters. Don’t judge a book by its cover and remember that many of those who ride also support countless charities, volunteer several hours to feed the homeless, or have served our country. Please watch for motorcycles!
